A couple more odd jobs done. I've marked up the wing aileron bellcrank inspection covers, drilled screw holes and attach holes for the screws and nutplates and riveted the nutplates in place. The mounting holes for nutplates can be a bit tricky but there is a simple method to get all the holes lined up correctly. My, I have been slack haven't I, a month since my last post! But never fear campers, things have been happening. I have continued the fitting of the cowl scoops with some filling and sanding to get everything neat and to round out the couple of small flat spots. Once that was complete I mounted the oil cooler to the scoop using piano hinge , one part on the scoop one part riveted to the cooler with removable pins to secure them.
